How to change the caption of images, duplicate products?

Hi, 

 

I am having a problem with image captions. 

 

Here's what happens: 

 

I do I duplicate a product, and I also I duplicate images because I have products that have the same appearance. 

 

The problem is the following: 

The captions of the product images are duplicated with the name of the original product. So I have to delete the images and upload them again to make sure that the captions have the same name as the product duplicate. 

 

This is a bug in your opinion? 

 

is there a way to change the name of the images, after that I have loaded?

Well yes, this feature has been overlooked. I think the only way is to either modify entries in the database for image_lang, or re-upload images, till they fix this issue

I prefer to re-upload images. But in this way is wasted time. 

 

You know how to report a bug or suggest improvements in Prestashop?
