nexzuis
Hi guys, I did a site back via my Cpanel in blue host. When I restored this backup al my product images and descriptions are missing. There is Also no SEO for the products. Any Idea how I can fix this? nexzuis
It seem like something went wrong with the databases? Could this be it? I never did a database backup in prestashop backoffice. I thought a full cpanel restore would fix it. Any suggestions?
bellini13
Product images are not stored in the database, they are stored in the file system. So perhaps you did not take a proper file system backup? Product Descriptions on the other hand are in the database, but I cannot imagine why they would go missing during a database backup/restore procedure. Are you sure they are missing from the database? nexzuis
Let me try and explain in detail what happened. I tried to do a product CSV import. The Product CSV import I did messed up my catalog. So I contacted Blue host to do me a full Cpanel restore. Once the restore was completed. All my Product Images, Descriptions, Short Discriptions, Meta Tags, Meta Title and product Links were missing. How can I restore the website 100% as it was? bellini13
Perhaps the backup they used was too old.
