Juanandres
Hello. I need to import a localization pack for a new country to add it to my shop and I can´t find the option in my backoffice. I have read many tutorials in internet, all of them say that in the localization screen apperars a localization pack import option, but it is not in my backoffice. My Presta version is 1.5.3.1 Any help would be appreciate. Thanks.
Tung at RockPOS.com
I'm on 1.5.3.1 and it appears to work. There must be a problem with your installation.
Juanandres
Hello TungCEO. Thank you very much for your reply. I guess there must be an installation problem. I will check. Anyway, I have tried to avoid importing a localization pack, by creating manually a new currency ( Mexican peso ) and specific prices, I configure it, but it doesn´t work. I register as a mexican customer and I can see only the standard prices in euros.
Tung at RockPOS.com
@Juanandres Actually, currency and language are independent things. Refer to European countries for an instance. They can speak English, French, Spanish, Italian, etc... but all they are using Euro as the main currency. You should add a new language manually. Then download your language pack and install yourself too. Here you can find available languages: http://www.prestashop.com/en/translations Hope this helps! It is with the currency I want to add, the mexican peso. I configure it manually, but when I place a trial order registering myself as mexican, the chopping cart appears in euros instead of mexican peso. Thanks. Tung at RockPOS.com
Ok, so you have to associate a country with a default currency. Here is the what I did: But I was noticed that, Prestashop does not automatically change to Peso when you log in as Mexican. I guess, there is something to be fixed here. But if you set default currency of your store (Back Office > Localization) to MXN + default country is Mexico, it should work.
