csv import into newly created tabs

There are multiple modules out there to create new tabs for products. My question, is does anyone know how or there is anything available that would allow me to import data from my csv into a newly created tab. Example. A column in my csv called warranty. Some of the rows actually have warranty data in the cell. Is there a way (module) or some way to import data directly from a csv into the warranty tab created using a module.  My goal is to do the least amount of db changes to allow for easy upgrades.
