teo_g
HiI upgrade my site from PS 1.5.6.2 at 1.6.0.9. After upgrade I can't modify position on category. Drag and drop product on the cross with arrows, PS announce "Update success" but after refreshing page in browser product return to the old position (view image 1) I noticed in several examples of PS 1.6 that the ordering of categories begins with Root then Home. On my site missing Root. (view image 2) Thanks for help!

R Santos
I did manage to sort the products on sub-category however on category still a mess. Try to advanced parameters > performance > force compile and all clean cache. Clear cache on web browser too. I did purchase this module from addons (Sorting Products by Category v1.1 - by Lineagrafica.es) but did not work on category but works on subcategory, I guess I definitely may be a bug, I did change product category, sequence, etc... I did upgrade from V 1.4 to new V 1.6. If any of you sort this out please let me know, really frustrating
teo_g
I suppose a js script don't work well. But I don't know js. Is interesting differences between what is in my BO after upgrade (view image1) and what appear on a fresh install PS 1.6. Don't appear up and down arrow. teo_g
I found that if you belong to one category product when this problem occurs. If the product belongs to a single category then can be arranged anywhere in category

musicmaster
You can use the sorting section from my script Triple Edit: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/185401-free-script-product-mass-edit-category-multi-edit-order-edit/ The problem with Ajax-driven sorting seems to be that too many articles get the same sequence number after some sorting.
