nicola82
I am on PS 1.6.0.8, my shop is installed into /shop/ directory of my domain. I tried to put a empty robots.txt file into the root and into the /shop/ but in both cases if I go to seo & urls page, at the bottom I do not see any "generate robots.txt" button. why? Can I also put another robots.txt into the root of the domain in order to block some other directories? for instance my root is: /dir01/ /dir/02 /shop/ robots.txt and I want to block dir01 and dir02. nicola82
my doubt is just if I can put 2 different robots.txt into a website?
maconl
yes ofcourse is this possible only not in one folder :-) and prestashop does only create the robot.txt in the folder or root where it is installed if you place an robot text in your root or /dir01/ etc then you can say in google where to find the robot.txt for your site and shop etc
