Problem with Theme Configurator

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I just recently started using PrestaShop and so far it's been great, but I'm having a problem with the Theme Configurator and would appreciate anyones help on this.

I'm trying to edit/change the pictures next to the rotating banner image and the ones at the bottom of the homepage. I've go into the theme configurator module and click edit next to the first picture. A window opens up under the image where I should be able to change the picture, but it opens then immediately closes! The same thing happens when I try and do add item. This is driving me somewhat crazy and any suggestions would really be appreciated.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstaling the module. I usually work with Firefox, but tried Chrome and that didn't help either. I've even tried different computers, but still the same thing.

Help!

Thanks,

Jen

can it be you have a pop up stopper installed?

if so, either disable it for a moment, or maybe you can try to press down the CTRL button when clicking on the link. You can probably add exceptions for which pop up are allowed and not, so add this one.

hope this is it, let me know

Oops sorry, didn't read well. was no pop up window....

Other simple try: Do you double click on the edit button??? Try a single click... (Noticed myself that it closed as you mention when doing a 'natural' double click ) . Just trying  :-)

jhess,

I then expect it to be some strange behaviour in the javascript. If you want I can have a look, but then I need to have temporarily access to your back office.

If you want that and trust me with it, please make a temporary employer with manager rights, and Pers. Message me the login name, password and URL to your site.

Pascal.
