closeupman
Hi, tried module Clean URLs. Got id's removed, but had some problem with products not showing up under categories and I got an error about trimming a string, the first time I went to a page. If i reloaded, it was fine. So I tried uninstalling it and now it's worse, it's stopped my website, www.ikhlasgreetings.com, dead in it's tracks. I get: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING, expecting T_FUNCTION in /home/ikhlasgr/public_html/override/classes/Dispatcher.php on line 26 I went to the code and saw an array declaration. Any way to stop this so I can get my website back? Thanks.
closeupman
I copied and pasted the dispatcher.php from another website I'm using and at least got my site back, it looks like there was one line missing from some reason from the bad dispatcher.php. however, now I'm getting page not found. I'm working on it now, but if any body has any ideas, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
closeupman
redoing the top horizontal menu, hoping that would help with pages not found, but now get Dispatcher::createUrl() miss required parameter "categories" for route "category_rule" ugh all because of ONE module that doesn't like being removed. OKAY, now i RENAMED the overridden dispatcher.php file to olddispatcher.php, so it's not used and everythings fine now, but now I get the id's back I forgot how I got rid of them on my OTHER website, cuz I don't have id's and I don't have clean url (checked the module list, both installed and not installed, not enabled and enabled) there any more, though I must've had it at one point because it had the dispatcher.php in the overrides. But THAT website looks fine, www.sitinuriatistudio.com Also, when I click on Salaam, under printed cards, the products show up fine. When I had Clean Url installed, all I got was a blank page. Also, as a side note, I had created a thread here about 'classes' as category giving me a 403 error and thought it was Prestashop error with reserved names or something, but now I can see it has to do with Clean Urls. I had Classes just fine as a category, but after installing it, it gave the 403 error. Now that it's uninstalled, the Classes category doesn't give any error. However, for some reason now, the ID's came back on my other website, sitinuriatistudio.com ......ugh Edited October 14, 2014 by closeupman (see edit history)
Anni_wi
Hi! I just had the same problem. What I did was that I took the override-file from a frech Prestashop install and replaced the one that was "bad". It worked for me and I didnt get the ID's back. Just wanted to let you know If it could be a help. /Anni
