Moving media files from one server to another server

Hi,

 

I would like to create a custom module in Prestashop and their scope is to copy the Prestashop Media files from one server to another server.

 

Brief Description:

1. To show a form (FTP) in backend, the admin fill the form with FTP details of other server.
2. Once the form is submitted then the media files in current Prestashop server copied and paste it in another server using the above FTP account.

Note

1. Both servers are located in different location.
2. The media files containd thousands of image in high resolution, so need to take care of server downtime / server load.

Please guide me what are things I should do for this custom module.
