prestaquest
Hi there, I am on a VPS and am trying to set up Memcached. However, when I go to Advanced Parameters > Performance > Caching in the backoffice, and I switch Use Cache to 'Yes' and try to select Memcached, it gives me the following error: The settings file cannot be overwritten. Do you guys know how I can solve this issue? Thanks!
El Patron
what are your permissions for file config/settings.inc.php you can determine this with good ftp program or sometimes using hosting control panel.

Hey, thanks for your help. The CHMOD says 777. That is why I don't understand why it fails to read my config. Any suggestions?

Any suggestions? some host disallow this setting to high, but that usually just creates a 500 error. typically on most hosting 755 folder/644 file is best setting. hopefully you set this to 777 for testing only. Hi, I have full root access to this server. None of the settings (644, 755, 777) solve the above Memcached problem with Prestashop 1.6. How do I update my config file? Thanks!
