thezey
Hi, Stripe module 0.9.5 works fine with my prestashop 1.5.4, except for the Card Number button and the CVC field that don't show up and it's really confusing for customers. I just attached a screenshot as an example. Now I know one prestashop member solved the issue, but I quite didn't get the thread and how to fix it. Would you be able to explain to me how to display properly these fields? Thank you
bellini13
would have been helpful to post a link to the thread you are referring to

bellini13
except for the Card Number button and the CVC field that don't show up The CVC field does show up, it is the field directly under "CVC" in your screen shot. Can you explain what the Card Number button is? I would also suggest upgrading your module to a supported module. The module you are using is no longer supported by Prestashop and has several issues. thezey
Normally, there should be a button you select the card number, but it shows a blank square instead just as if the browser couldn't display it properly. How can we change that? I tried to upgrade the stripe module, but it says I have the newest version..,.
bellini13
Normally, there should be a button you select the card number, but it shows a blank square instead just as if the browser couldn't display it properly. I still do not understand what you are trying to say. The customer enters their card number in the text field, they do not use a button for anything. The square you are seeing is just an anchor for when there is an error message. The patch I created hides that square. Try searching the forums for the patch I released. It fixes these issues and several others.
thezey
I see. The box is indeed confusing. I'm unsure if the patch is compatible with the module and prestashop versions I have. As I don't have any other issue, I was wondering how to do it without the patch you kindly created. What about for the "What is this?" box? In the screenshot I attached, it's overlaying the expiration month field a bit.

Hi bellini13!, I'm updated this post as I still have the same issue. I opened your patch, but didn't spot any difference between the stripe module files ands yours regarding the square that needs to be hidden. Could you please give me some pointers for the line to be changed, as i only have this issue with stripe? Thank you in advance.
bellini13
I no longer provide support for the free Stripe module that is no longer available. There are other free and paid modules that are available, and that are supported, and I would suggest you switch to using one of those.
thezey
Hi Bellini13, Thanks for your post. It seems there are many stripe modules, but I'm unsure which one to choose. Would you suggest any Stripe module for both free and paid in particular?
bellini13
Of course I would suggest the module I sell. I'm not aware of any free modules
