jant90
I'm using Prestashop 1.6.0.9 in Dutch with the default theme. Now, I edited a few emails to better fit with my needs but the changes aren't showing up. Should I clear some kind of cache before the edited emails will be showing? I changed them in the BO at: Localization -> Translations Selected: Email templates translations Selected: Core (no theme selected) Selected: Language Dutch I must note that when selecting default-bootstrap (my theme) no emails translations show up, I get these error messages showing up, does that have anything to do with my problem? jant90
I would like to add, I do notice the html files in the mail/nl folder are being changed when I view them with my FTP client. Should those perhaps be imported to the database? And if so, how do I do this? Update: I disabled all the caching options, both normal caching and smarty caching. Also I manually deleted the smarty cach history but none of that worked. What on earth am I doing wrong?? jant90
Okay, it turned out it had something to do with the error messages displayed. I copied the "en" folder from "/mails/en" to "/themes/default-bootstrap/mails/en" and now the Dutch mails from the folder "/themes/default-bootstrap/mails/nl" started to show up when selecting "Email templates translations" + "default-bootstrap" and I'm able to edit them just fine! This is some messed up shit, apearently the English mail translations are in the wrong place (in the core folder instead of in the default theme location) causing problems to a completely unrelated language. In addition I have English turned off for my shop, so it makes no sense at all not to show the Dutch translations when the files are there like they should just because the English translations are I do use the backoffice in English btw (because using the BO in Dutch is just terrible and makes it hard to understand it all).
