Product's description in "Shopping Cart Summary" page display like ? ?

I found a problem in prestashop 1.6 with Thai language that
"When I add prodct to cart and click check out, the product's description in Shopping Cart Summary display content like this "??????????????? ?????????????". But if I add other product to cart, the product's description display correctly."

 

This problem occur when

1. Select language to Thai. In English, it dispray correcly.

2. Open page with Firefox or Chrome. In Safari, it dispray correcly.

 

Is there anyone who had this problem before? And how to fix it?

- Your site is in catalog mode at the mode, Can you put it in store mode for a while, so we can get to the checkout page? 

 

Do you use a custom theme? If so, please check if they have a file called /themes/simple-great/shopping-cart-product-line.tpl

If so, open it and search for a line where it says $product.name, something like:

 

<td class="cart_description">

<p class="product-name"><a href="{$link->getProductLink($product.id_product, $product.link_rewrite, $product.category, null, null, $product.id_shop, $product.id_product_attribute)|escape:'html':'UTF-8'}">{$product.name|escape:'html':'UTF-8'}</a></p>

 

and see if they have the 'UTF-8' part in there. (Before you edit anything, make backup!!)

- Now, the site is in store mode. So, you can try to use the checkout page.

- I checked shopping-cart-product-line.tpl file as you suggested and found the 'UTF-8' part was in there.
