Homepage Images Couldn't Be Editd

Hi, I am newbie here.

 

I am using prestashop 1.6.0.9. with theme default_bootstrap1.0.

 

I have gone to "Preferences > Theme > Customize Your Theme > Theme Configurator". Then I tried to change the images in hook top, hook home, banner top, as in the picture below:

 

 

And I also have gone to "Modules > Image Slider for your homepage v1.4.1 > Configure". Then I edited the 3 images in Image Slider with my own design.

 

But, why the images in my homepage still didn't change at all? As in the picture below:

 

 

As in the picture above, seems that the images in Image Slider (excepteur occaecat), hook top up (3 days sale get up), hook top down (only online summer collection), are still as default.

Althought both in the Image Slider module and in Theme Configurator module have been updated successfully (the two modules had shown an "update successfully" confirmation).

 

What is the solution of these problems? I have search the solution in google, and even download some tutorials in youtube, and still couldn't find any solution for these problems.

Hi,

I'm having a similar problem with image slider, although I'm getting a fatal error.

I can edit the the pictures at the side of it, but can find image slider to edit.

 

When I go in Modules / menu to do a search I get the following :-

 

[PrestaShop] Fatal error in module smarty_internal_templateparser:
Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 3072 bytes)

 

 

 

Any idea guys

Is there an error on the prestshop modules link, as I am unable to even get to see the Slider link,  as i unable to find it due to the

error message.

 

I'm new to Prestashop sorry, so am totally lost as to why I am not able to change the slider image.

Btw, if i decide to change the theme (not default_bootstrap1.0. again), would this solve the problem?

 

In default_bootstrap1.0. i also have problem to edit the navigations tab.

I have solved this problem, I edited the image manually here:

 

C:\wamp\www\modules\themeconfigurator\img
 

C:\wamp\www\modules\homeslider\images
 

Thanks godness, I did stop configuring those confusing configuration, and did manually.. sometimes the greatest things are the simplest things
