starting the site with other index.html

Recommended Posts

The default startingpage of a website  is index.html

Is it however possible to have a pre-start page ?

So the surfer enters a the site, sees some welcome-words(announcements,...) and then can entger the real site by clicking on f.e. a button.

Is it sufficient for this to rename the current index.htrml to enterstore.html and changing the index-pagename in Voorkeuren separator_breadcrumb.png SEO & URL's separator_breadcrumb.png Bewerken ?

Actually you can define the page in your web hosting account. Ask your hosting company how to define it, because every hosting company has a different way you can enable it.

I use prestashop 1.5. so is it suuficient to rename the index.php to enterstore.php, change the index-line in preferences-SEO&URL's : ( this line :
