Clicking on Modules link gives Internal Server Error

I was working on the Horizontal Menu module, saved it and when I went back to click on the module link in the admin area I got an INTERNAL SERVER ERROR. There were no errors in my server error log. All other links in the admin area work and are accessible. I created a jing video but couldn't attach it. I uploaded it to the store web site . I am at a loss as to how to proceed.

 

Any help, recommendations and/or suggestions will be very much greatly appreciated.

Additional information:

 

This is a first time install. It was installed in a virgin directory.

I am using prestashop 1.6.x on a Unix server. My desktop is a HP Laptop running windows 8. Chrome is my browser.

Are your modules showing up? All mine disappeared in the directory (menu/modules/modules - now I get a blank white page!)
