me-and-prestashop
Some category names of this Prestashop (1.6.0.9) uses a slash like this: Bathroom/Washingroom Importing categories using the built in csv import was successful. When importing products assigned to catogoriy names with a slash, new categories are created with split names like "Bathroom" only and "Wahsingroom" only (for each product). Is it possible to overcome this in any way? Can I wrap these values in the CSV file so the categories are not splitt when importing products? (appreciate any help) Edited October 23, 2014 by me-and-prestashop (see edit history)
vmn
Hi, I noticed the same. I had to replace slashes with commas to proceed. If you do the same, you should do this for categories as well as for products. I used the following separators:fields | and multivalue §. me-and-prestashop
Using commas in category names is a good alternative. ; as field separator and | for multivalues works well for me. [edit] The solution for me was to use another character than slash (/) in category names. I will mark this as [sOLVED] Edited October 23, 2014 by me-and-prestashop (see edit history)
