[SOLVED] How to display discount amount value in the cart

I am new to Prestashop, although it is pretty intuitive for all the basic functionality....

I would like to show the customer the amount of discount they recieved as a line item on their cart and invoice. This can come from quantity orders or if the customer have been configured to recieve a certain % discount of list price...

If this issue have already been addressed, appologies, but I could not find a reference...

Also, is there a way not to show pricing for products unless the user have registered and been validated/activated to place orders? The site I am working on will be B2B...

Solution documented in other forums. The main hickup in implementing the recommended solution was in the editor. I am using PHP editor to make changes to the code and it seems that you have open the the php files in a text editor (notepad) and then close it and the code starts working. I do not understand why but it works.

I have to find the post that had the solution and reference it here....
