thankyou and cancel pages[solved]

Recommended Posts

Hi since im replacing my root site files with prestashop, how do i handle thankyou and cancel pages with prestashop.  Do need to create PS versions of those pages.  Do you already have that covered?

What do i put in my buttons setup for the paypal return success and return cancel inputs when creating buttons.   Right now i use thankyou.php and cancel.php

thanks

I always do a simple search to see if anyone has had my issue and SOLVED it or similar to it.

Like this link here maybe ?

http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/174666-solved-how-to-edit-the-thank-you-page-after-paypal-payment/

That is why i like the topics marked [sOLVED] so i do not waste time looking through a bunch of crap lol

Hope this helps........ B)

thanks lol :)    ill poke around some more too.  I used cancel search but found not much in the way of my question.    Thing is i dont want to edit the tpl file.  I want to know where to tell paypal to go.

I have to use the cancel and thank you button inputs because my main IPN goes to my hosting company.  So everything else i do with paypal, when i create the button is asks.

where do you want to send the customer if cancel    and i put  www.mysite.com/cancel.php

where do you want to send the customer on success and i put www.mysite.com/thankyou.php

so i need to tell paypal where to go with presta shop as well, i cant tell them  go to www.mysite.com/templates/order-confirmation.tpl

see what i mean..     does presta shop have their own thankyou  and cancel pages or do i need to create those as custom pages?

ill do more searching see what i can find as well.

In the paypal module if you pick one of the advanced features it displays a link and it says

For PayPal Payments Advanced to work properly on your store, please adjust your PayPal settings by following these steps:

  • Log-in to Paypal Manager
  • Select Hosted Checkout Pages, then select "Setup"
  • Under Security Options, set the "Enable Secure Token" to "Yes". This change is required in order for your checkout to work, and it is required to be set by you personally for security reasons. Please do not change any other values on this page or on the Customize page, as PrestaShop will pass these values on your behalf for ease of configuration.

So i wonder if that is what you will need ?

Hope this helps........ B)
