Guidos
Hi all, I see in the customers section, where a customer is created as an employee that a private note can be generated to send to all employees. However as much as I try I can not find any documentation about this feature nor where this message appears for employees. I have created a message in the private note field and saved it and logged in as a separate employee but cant find any private note anywhere. Can anyone help please? Thanks

Guidos
I think I'll assume they are an obsolete function in Prestashop.
PascalVG
Hi Guidos, the customer private note will be, as said, only be displayed (not send!) to the employees, not to the customer him/herself. It's a field where you can write about that customer, for example, communication with the customer ("customer contacted us about shipping on 7 June"), problems with the customer (late payer, frequently asking for refunds, etc). The employee dealing with this customer can read these notes and uses this info when dealing with the customer. So, when the customer sends a message through the contact form, an employee sees this message, and can quickly go the the customer's info by clicking on the amp. glass icon. It will show the customer info, including this private note. That's all, noting spectacular... Hope this helps, pascal Edited October 15, 2014 by PascalVG (see edit history)
