MultiStores Redirect Slow Loading

Hi,

 

I have 30 multistores on a PS 1.6 install. The first time they load it takes several minutes; once loaded the site is very fast.

I'm on a VPS server, using MaxCDN, Smarty Cache, Memcached, Recompile only if changes are made.

 

Everybody is telling me the slow loading is caused by redirect issues, but I don't know how to fix that.

 

I have another 30+ multistore install on PS 1.5 on the same server that loads very fast, so it must be something wrong with my 1.6 install. try: achastore.com/fgcu/
