Help Configuring Catalog so customers can sort by Colour, Price Range etc

Morning,

 

I am running Prestashop 1.6.0.8 and have been progressing through the shop build quite nicely adding products, categories etc but one thing that I am struggling with is the catalog options on the category view such as colour, price range, etc.

 

Best way of explaining it is by the attachment from the PrestaShop demo store.

 

How do I set my store up to show these options on the left hand side?
