Remove adress and shipping from checkout

I'm selling only digital products and therefore I would like to remove adress and shipping from the checkout as it's not really needed. I want my customers to be redirected to the payment method selection straight after registration/login. I would also like to remove "My adresses" from the account overview and all the information associated with shipping from the order history (tracking number, weight, shippign adress etc.).

 

If it's possible I would want to be able to manually assign adresses to selected customers from the back office, for example when I need to invoice a business customer.

 

How do I do this?

If you mark your product as virtual it should make the shipping disappear

 

However you will always need the address - not least for security with credit card / paypal payments

Unfortunately it doesn't solve the problem in my case as with virtual products it's not possible to use attributes which I need. And it still leaves the checkout step so my customers need to make those additional, unnescessary clicks.

 

I'm using third parties for fraud protection so I don't need to collect those data from my customers, requiring a full adress while I only need email to send the product might result in lower conversions.

Not sure you can do all that with the standard prestashop offering. Try asking in the "JOb Offers" forum perhaps you can get a coder to help out
