Change the Display Order for Order Statuses

Hi,

I'm brand new to this, I'm a user and not a programmer.

 

Is there a way to change the order display of the order status. There are already a number of status' set ad as you add more they seem show in the order they were created at the bottom of the list. I want the order to reflect the sequence of the process and am adding some interim internal steps.

while you can sort them using back office, there is 'no' native function to display in specified sequence.  Typically one really does not spend much time in statues.  (tip: do not delete and/or modify statues, this can lead to unpredictable results).

Thanks El Patron. I cant see how you can re-sort them in the back office. Can you explain some more ?
