Images not loading... Constantly 'Waiting for...'

Hi, This is my first post on this forum, so forgive me for not knowing all the protocols. I've searched through the forum trying to find a solution, but to no avail, hence why I'm posting now.

I successfully managed to install prestashop v1.2.5.0. All was working fine, and the installation seemed to go relatively smoothly. I downloaded three themes and installed them as per the instructions provided, and now I have a problem.

Since installing the new themes, all my images won't load. I've reverted back to the prestashop theme, and still the images won't load. Even more, as the page is still trying to load the images, which it is unable to do. The pages load very slowly, and never complete... always the status says 'Waiting for 23 items...'

In my attempt to fix this issue, I have re-installed everything once more to reset everything, and the images still fail to appear.

I've checked through all folders for their recursive CHMOD permissions, all is well. Certainly well enough to pass the install requirements.

v1.1 theme compatibility is set to yes also.

Anyone else have this issue? - Or perhaps a solution?
