0121stephen
Hi, I recently noticed that one of my image slider images on my homepage pointed to the prestashop homepage. I tried to change this but found it impossible. I tried to remove the image and add a new one this left a massive question mark on my home page. I then uninstalled the module and reinstalled it. This made the all the images disappear. As a result, I had my website reset, this solved the appearance issue but now the backend of the image slider module seems not to be connected to the front end. The backend is showing the default images but the front end is showing the images I have uploaded. I tried to change the default images but it seems to have no effect on the frontend of the slide. Any ideas? Thanks, Stephen
nutxlago
Stephen, have you several languages installed in your store? If this is the case, go to the sliders and switch to other languages clicking on the language code (en/fr/de) button (top right of the slide). You must change each slide in each language. Hope this helps. Let us know. Edit: do not forget to disable cache in Advanced Parameters > Performance in order to force PS to compile. 0121stephen
Thanks for your help. These are good ideas but they have not solved my problem. The backend of the module does not seem connected at all.
nutxlago
Could you provide a screenshot of the module in backend? Did it show any problem or warning? Check if the module itself is enabled to all devices (Modules > Homepage image slider > Select the arrow right near edit to display other options. 0121stephen
I've attached an image of the backend it appears as the default. The frontend can be seen at chah.co.uk Thanks, Stephen
nutxlago
I see a slide called "Flowering tea" is missing for almost all the languages. And that one of the default slides from the themeis still showing. Just double-check all the images for all the languages. Slider is showing perfectly with no errors. Just a question of checking all the languages (lots of them ) No screenshot attached?
