Promokit
Hello everyone. My question is about fontawesome. Size of all fontawesome files is about 420Kb. Size of fontawesome css styles is about 18Kb. I have notices a lot of glyphs are not used in theme. So maybe prestashop developers will remove unnecessary glyphs and css? Promokit
I have removed unnecessary glyphs and regenerated font through fontsquirell. Now the size of all font files is about 40Kb I want to hear some comments from prestashop team.

SmartDataSoft
Prestashop use fontawasome 3.2.1 version. The main goal is not only use by theme. The core theme use main fontawasome, so that all developer can use the icon of fontawasome in there module , rather than use any image. Which will improve the performance of the site at the end. Promokit
Thank you for your replies. When I wrote about 200kb I mean all font files https://www.dropbox.com/s/5d8jv2htpgx30at/Screenshot%202014-10-01%2009.48.10.png?dl=0 Yes, I agree that it's a good idea to use font glyphs instead of images, but if prestashop theme use only 10% of all glyphs why should I load all other glyphs and their css
SmartDataSoft
Just now once answer comes on my mind. #1 prestashop use same library for there back end and front end. You can view back end lots of font are using. My openion is that may be for that they use same library. They do not want to use two separate library in back end and from end. May be some one open ticket , that why prestashop 3.0 do not have the core fontawasome font icon,
