COMPACTER
Nevermind the above errors i figured it out on my own without any staff help cause no one ever responds to any help from members cause we did not purchase your hosting plans so we are not worthy of the help right.Well i have another error i cannot figure out. Can't create settings file, if /config/settings.inc.php exists, please give the public write permissions to this file, else please create a file named settings.inc.php in config directory. This file is there and i have set the permission for write, but still cannot continue to the next page for some reason. rocky
I've heard from a lot of people on these forums having trouble getting Prestashop to work on GoDaddy. I guess their servers aren't configured to work well with Prestashop. I use Just Host and haven't had any problems installing Prestashop on it. rocky
Make sure the config directory has write permissions so that the installer can write the settings.inc.php file. I think you can do that by right-clicking on the folder and going to the Security tab, but I use Linux hosting, so I'm not sure.
victor767
PrestaShop doesn't work with Godaddy and the staff from PrestaShop looks like won't resolve the problem. Currently Godaddy is offering a great product with Cloud hosting, which i already bought it. I'm sorry but if PrestaShop is not listening their clients and the market it is not a product that will success. I'm changing to KEN CART
