Master One
Using PrestaShop v1.6.0.9 with the default-template, when clicking on a category the grid of available subcategories is shown with square boxes for the subcategory images, but instead of own small subcategory images it is using the scaled down banner style category images which just do not look right. This surely is a known issue, but I have not found an open bug concerning this, and since I'm using the default template it really is an annoying issue disturbing the otherwise nice presentation. I have just opened a bug for this on the issue tracker: PSCSX-3475
vekia
sadly prestashop can't handle two differnt images of categories, at the moment there is no serious solution for this. You have to decide: change banner dimensions, or change subcategories dimesions. They must be proportional
Master One
Can't change the banner dimension, they are fine as they are. The question is, what's the best workaround for that problem? Why has the picture box for the subcategory picture been kept square if it's not supported that way? Leave as it's now, or make the subcategory picture box fit the scaled down dimensions of the subcategory picture? It would be nice if a proper workaround would be implemented into the default template till a proper solution has been found, because I don't want to mess with the default template and benefit from future updates to it.
