How can I add Albums and Tracks

Hi, I'm new to Prestashop, and I was wondering how can I add albums and tracks to my shop.

I want to get a list of tracks when I click an Album name.

There are many ways you could do this depending on what exactly it is you want. Do you want the customer to be able to buy individual tracks from an album?

If you don't need customers to be able to buy individual tracks, you could add the tracks into the description of the product or as features of the product.

If you want customers to be able to buy individual tracks, you could add each track individually as products and set the manufacturer or supplier of the track to the album name, then add the Manufacturer or Supplier block to allow the customer to choose an album and view all tracks. Alternatively, you could create a single album product and separate track products and add the track products as accessories of the album, so that both the album and individual tracks can be purchased.

If you mean actually adding sample tracks and albums for listening i found a free mp3 player using a xml playlist download it here Also a cool single player from1pixelout i embed in the short description all the instructions are on the site . Another one with a set up wizard instruction is at JW player. Of course google and yahoo  no time to try them all.For my xml player the embed code looks like this (first download the player and xml file and put it in your ps folder)

Can you please elaborate on what it is that you want? I might be able to come up with a solution if I understand what exactly you want.

I appreciate your quick response.

I'm trying to sell MP3 files. So I want the customers to have the option of buying the whole album, or individual tracks of that album.

I'm also looking for a view similar to the below:

It is not possible to do that with Prestashop. The best you could do is have one category that allows you to buy albums and another category that allows you to buy individual tracks. You could add each album and individual tracks as accessories of each other to allow the customer to easily switch between them.
