Naldinho
Just a quick question about multi-store -- if you have two stores that have almost no products in common is there any value in using multi-store? Is there any disadvantages? Performance issues? Stability issues with modules?
benjamin utterback
Just a quick question about multi-store -- if you have two stores that have almost no products in common is there any value in using multi-store? Is there any disadvantages? Performance issues? Stability issues with modules? Are you storing the products in the same place? I would probably go with two stores myself. However, if you don't have complicated shipping/warehousing/inventory then multistore is a great option. It really depends on how customized you want your shop/modules etc.
Naldinho
Physically products at the same location. Shipping is just a live feed from FedEx so simple. Inventory management disabled for both stores. I was leaning strongly towards two stores unless a really good reason for going with multistore could be made. For this situation, the only reason would be having to manage one back office instead of two.
