Kstyle001
When you enable "geolocation by IP adress", it detects what language the user has but does it also set the right currency. For example; I have euro and dollars enabled in my store and english and italian as the languages you can choose. If a German enters my store, will the language be set to english (since it's the default language I suppose?) and currency to euros? And what if geolocation is disabled. How does prestashop detect the language/currency of the user? Thanks in regard! El Patron
geo location can only help with matching country with currency, not language. language is handled by basic browser detect language. also, I do not recommend geo location without extension because geolitecity.dat file is only 85% accurate, native ps will not allow unresolved IP's (the other 15%) from shopping, which is not a good idea. I do some geo work, Geo Targeting Pro and Advanced Language | Currency detect you can review that might help you understand what natvie supports and what an extension/module solution can provide. See my signature for shop and modules. I am loco for localization.
Jimmy52
Hello everyone! We need to add states to European countries for localization reasons, in order to ship to European customers. Since we bought the website hosting in the US, the STATES for European countries with their ISO codes etc. are not already included in Prestashop. So all we ask is a link to bulk import this information, or at least some trusted links with the states and codes listed by country, in order to ADD the states one by one. Thanking you in advance, best regards
