Product Pictures don't show

Hi,

 

Installed prestashop took two tries got it working. But during my second try I changed something during the in browser setup instead of ps_ for the table section I changed it to pq_ because it said table with prefix already existed change or drop table so I changed the prefix to pq_. Just wondering would that have caused problems with product pictures not showing up?

That's irrelevant, it's just the prefix ps uses in the database (although you should get rid of the previous ones, since they are not used).

Try regenerating thumbs from preferences -> images

When you installed PS the first time, the installation process will create tables in the database.  Those tables will start with ps_ by default.

 

Now for some reason you tried to install PS a second time, and you are trying to use the exact same database with the exact same prefix (ps_).  Prestashop install script will prevent you from doing that, because the assumption here is that you already have a store installed and it does not want to delete that stores data.

 

So, what you need to determine for yourself, is if the tables with ps_prefix are from your first installation, or do you already have a store installed

Thanks for the help guys tried generating images still nothing. I believe ps_ is from the first installation that did not work so I am using pq_ for the tables.

I have the same troubles. I downloaded a new 1.6 version today and can not upload or generate any images.

I get the image is in the wrong format error.  I hope someone can help.
