Disabling tinymce editor in 1.6

Does anyone know how to disable the tinymce editor in 1.6?  I want to put html + CSS into my cms pages.  I disabled tinymce in 1.5, and built my code using Dreamweaver CS6,  and it worked fine.  After upgrading to 1.6, I can't do this anymore.

I tried to use the enhanced tinymce editor, but when I went to tools->Source code, pasted my new source code in and hit OK, the displayed text looked great.  However, when I saved it, the new html+CSS didn't save, and the page looked the same.

Did 1.6 break this function?

Thanks in advance.

Steve

SrJacob, have you tried to disable cache in advanced parameters > performance? I have used little css formatting in tinymice html mode and had no problem when in product.tpl; product-list.tpl strips html tags so that there no css format will be shown.

Just check if cms?.tpl does not take html tags into consideration.
