Order confirmation email not sent to customers

Hi,

 

I have this problem with the email order confirmation for the customer.

 

I receive the order email confirmation for the administrator, the email test works, but the emails for customers are not sent.

 

Any sugestion?

 

Is there someone with the same problem?

the email for the admin is sent via the mail alerts module.  the email for the customer is sent from the PaymentModule class.  so it is possible that one works while the other does not, because it is different code.

 

So first we need some details.

1) What version of Prestashop (ie.  v1.6.0.9)

2) What payment modules are you using?  Does this issue occur with each of them?

3) What order status is used when an order is first created?  Does it go to 'payment accepted' or some other status?

4) Do you have any overrides?

Answering to your questions:

 

1 - I'm using v. 1.6.0.9

2 - I'm using only one payment method: Bank Wire. Tried to use with another payment method "cash on delivery" but happend the same.

3 - The status after the order is "Awaiting bank wire payment" and the e-mail check box is on.

4 - No overrides

your shop email address (preferences > store contacts) is equal to mail that you use in SMTP account settings?

it's more than probably that google treats your mails as a spam due to the SPF policy (different mail in settings, and different mail in mail header)
