Ansku
Hiyas! Id like to know how to modify the 1.6 shop so that Our company could check the registrator. Our shop is for resellers and we dont wanna allow consumers to register and buy or see the resellers prices. I set the options on Prefrences--customers--general at "Registration process type" to "only account creation". Is this option so they cant order directly after registration? And so we can validate the registrant and after improving the customer we could send them the password etc....? Ansku
nutxlago
Hi, Have you tried to enable B2B option in Customers > General > Enable B2B mode? I am not sure, but, when that option is activated, Prestashop will offer you other options that suits a b2b store.
nutxlago
And, do not forget you have a module VAT validation module you can install if your store is in the E.U. In order not to let visitors to see prices you can edit Customers > groups > visitor and set the option to see prices to NO Edited September 20, 2014 by nutxlago (see edit history)
Ansku
Hmm, choosed it but APE and SIRET values will be a problem. Maybe I can turn them of. I have to try. Its for France only?
nutxlago
I really do not know, Ansku, I suggest you to try it, as although it is called SIRET (Prestashop is a French platform) I guess that it works with any kind of E.U VAT number (as module's name suggests). nutxlago
Ok, so, edit country/countries and set VAT number to NON (your b2b customers will register without giving any VAT number this way)
Ansku
Well, we want the VAT, but not APE or SIRET....
nutxlago
Anksu, you should have no problem. As long as you have a clear idea about which countries will be allowed to purchase in your shop, allow only your country in Countries (if it is the case). Then, request the vat number to Customer upon registration. If a Customer does not belongs to the allowed country, it does not matter if he/she has a Vat number or not... Ansku
but there aint any text a finnish custemer (b2b) will be able to input to APE, SIRET in registrationform. All I want to is manyally give the customer their passwords, so I know they are shopowners, not consumers...
nutxlago
Activate VAT required in Countries > Finland. You should try with a wide range of options PS is giving you. All related to fields / requested information (required fields included) to Customer upon registration is in several settings through your backstore. Localization Country (edit) Customers > Customers Customers > Adresses Scroll always till the end of the pages so that you do not miss important setting that would be not visible at a first glance. Good luck!
Ansku
okay... I solved this by disabling b2b. Now my clients goes to group "customer". After we get email of new registration, we will manually change their group to other where we show prices. Thank you for your help Ansku
