subaru4wd
My shop has free shipping set for all orders over $100. I can't afford to offer that to my international customers unfortunately, and I need to be able to charge them international rates. It does not look possible in Prestashop, i have looked everywhere. Is there some sort of modification I can make, or maybe there is a setting I overlooked? Thanks in advance,
nutxlago
subaru4wd, it is really possible and easy to offer different shipping costs based on destinations in PS. This is just a proccess. First, you need to create Zones. To create a zone go to B.O. > Localization > Zones Create there the zones you require: US and Non-US (US is already created in PS countries....It belongs to North America, but it is grouped with other countries and perhaps you do not want to ship to all those countries in that zone. You must decide to which countries you will ship goods, this is why Zones is a very useful feature in Prestashop) Then, go to Localization > countries and edit each country you want to belong to your zones. Then, go to Shipping > Carriers and edit one or create a new one In the second tab you can add costs to both zones depending on purchase amount or weight and create ranges. For example: From 0$ to 150$ ---------- US cost 0$ Non US 6$ From 151 $ to 250 ´----------- Us cost 0$ Non US $4 And so on. Hope this help! subaru4wd
What I need is: From $0 to $100 --- US cost standard rates , intl cost standard rates. From $100 to $99,999 -- US cost $0, intl cost standard rates Is this possible with the way you described? I notice the option to offer free shipping over $100 is a general shipping option that effects ALL carriers. I cannot find any way to change it to not effect my INternational Carrier. nutxlago
You need to apply costs ranges according to destinations. So, you must disable that general rule which offers free shipping to all destinations. I put here a snapshot of given costs in a PS store. I think it will serve you as a guide to create your costs. nutxlago
So in your case, you must see the zones you created in that shipping costs settings in your prestashop bcakoffice store. Your costs should be: From $0 to $100 from $101(attention!) to $150 From $151 (always plus 1 dollar) US zone (ticked, selected) --------- $3-----------------------------------$0-------------------------- $x Non US (selected) -------------------$6-----------------------------------$4-----------------------------$x
