how to change Tracking number field maxlengh characters limit?

How to change tracking number field maxlengh   to accept more then 64 characters?

I would like to send longer info using this field.

in ps 1.4 you can do it on database

shipping_number field on ps_orders table

you can change the varchar there... I think that's the same in your version but not sure

Hello,

In PS 1.6 you can do it on database on ps_orders table.

 

You can change the varchar of shipping_number field to 255.
 
Then in your email 'in_transit' change {followup} for {shipping_number}.
