Forum rules: links towards paid modules forum topics in free module part of forum allowed?

As said in forum rules:

Advertising is restricted to one and only one section of the forum
Advertising is only allowed in the "Paid modules, job offers and paid services” forum, and out of respect for others, please do not post your advertising in someone else’s topic.....

In forums other than "Paid Modules, Themes and Job Offers", links to a site offering paying products are prohibited.

 

But:

 

Links towards paid modules or themes on Prestashop forum are there allowed in free modules or themes topics? Some said it's not external link but sure it's a kind of advertising.

Is it possible to clear the rules about it?

when the post in 'on topic' and 'not an external link'.  My understanding it is allowed.

 

 

I do not now how the French forum is run.

 

also how are we to handle situation where native PrestaShop does not support posters needs but there is a module solution?

French, English, German, Greek forums... they're all handled the same.

 

If one module is the simple answer to a question asked outside of the modules section, then it's fine. We expect from responders pushing one module as a solution not to oversell or overadvertise them, obviously.
