tsvetanovah Posted September 17, 2014 Share Posted September 17, 2014 Hello guys and girls,My issue looks simple but I still haven't found a solution for it. The problem is that my website is intended for regular customers AND for their sales representatives. Now imagine the following situation:The sales representative (we shall call him Rep) finds two customers called Cust1 and Cust2. So Cust1 and Cust2 come to my website and they create their accounts there. I need to find a way to associate the orders of Cust1 and Cust2 to their representative - Rep. By doing this I will know that these two customers are Rep's customers and I will be able to calculate Rep's commission and pay him later. I looked for a module all over and found nothing. What I found thanks to your suggestion are a few modules which can be pretty neat after modifying them a little bit. Is it ok to post them here as they are not free? bellini13 Posted December 18, 2014 Share Posted December 18, 2014 To expand on the customer group approach, if you create a customer group for each Rep, then you just need a way to manage which Rep attracted the customer to your website. Our Customer Group Registration module may help you with this. The module adds a new field during customer registration, where the customer can select which 'group' they should belong to. If your groups are just the Sales Rep name, then you could rename the field label to "Sales Rep" and allow the customer to choose.
