Nivo slider width adjustment help request

hello Guys,

 

I'm using leo home bootstrap slider on my home page and on the right to it i'm keeping widget

both are hooked on hook_slideshow

they look fine as attached photo # 1

 

mow i want to use Nivo slider 1.5 instead of leo bootstrap , but somehow the widget is going below the slider not next to it , Nivo is talking full width of the hook i believe...attached photo # 2

 

image size is 590 x 342, i changed all width in Nivo CSS but no luck

any advice on how to solve this issue, i'm actually biginner
