giovanni57
Dear all, I have to start a B2B e-commerce project that has the following requirements. Before to start and go deep into PS I would like to have a your experienced suggestio about it . Shortly could it be an announced classic bloodbath or is it feasable in reduced time ? I got a small ERP on backgroud where are stored all master data like products/items, customers, RFQ, Offers, Orders, and some other classic sales tables. Process Only Customers can access to e-commerce using login and then they can access to items with all standard features, filter, categories. Being a Customer it has had at list an OFFER and probably one ORDER did in past too. WITH OFFER (If customer has one/more valid living offer ) Within all the items displayed it can ONLY order the items that were included into a still valid offer (one or more than one) in past. Attention orders have end date so I can show only the products referred to valid offer. They are all available for new orders. If OK, it chooses these available articles/items and make a new order as usual. The shopping cart do not go to check out but only create an new order to register later on Erp side. WITHOUT OFFER (if customer want to choose products not related to one offer). It's also possible that the same customer see an interesting product within the "other" available never ordered before. This items are visible but they DO NOT have a price and they can only be used to create request a Quoting . In this case it has to be able to select one or more than one and create a new request for a quotation (RFQ). Then the sales & marketing office send back to it an OFFER enabling it to make a real order . Doing an official offer the customer can later to come back on e-commerce site and find the products available and with the offer price. I'm wonder if using the prestashop and all specific avaliable addons we can build something like that . Just to be sure : PS database work as replication (daily) of ERP related tables ? What do you use normally to make sincronization ? Many thanks Giovanni Dr. Chiozza
