El Patron
manual upgrade has been dropped. it was really only for 'super advanced' prestanerds, why you not using one-click upgrade? do you have test shop you are doing this on?
acemiprestaci
because when i tried autoupgrade , module failed to download new version of prestashop. i copied my website to subfolder , mysite/prestaupdate .maybe the problem is subfolder ? now i moved the copied shop to subdomain presta.mysite.com from subfolder. i will again try to autoupgrade.and, now it is not possible to upgrade manuelly anymore ?? El Patron
..it was never really a good path, i.e. manual upgrade on your test shop before trying upgrade it works yes, i.e. you can navigate around the test shop without issue?

acemiprestaci
update works with subdomain. maybe problem was subfolder. 1-click upgrade sucesfully did its work. but my theme is not compatible for 1.6.0.9 . my theme ws for presta lastest 1.5 version. i made it with theme-maker website but cannot upgrade to 1.6 so i went back 1.

El Patron
many thx patron con mucho gusto, one would think the work is in the upgrade, until they want to install a kick butt theme. ...theme config takes a lot of time, so test shop great place to learn how to use it... i.e. the time is not the upgrade, learning cool theme config
