azwris
Hi all, As it seems "Product Categories" sample CSV file won't open correctly both on OpenOffiice or MS-Office for me. Rows and columns are not aligned, cannot read at all. It says it's a SYLK file. Any solutions? Thanks in advance. nutxlago
Openoffice Calc usually give you the options to import the CSV files in the best way. Just test several separating characters you need and check how Calc is showing you the data in the preview table. Just hit continue/ok when you like what you see. Hope this helps! azwris
thanks for your suggestion nutxlago. To be honest I 've already tried this option with Calc but it wasn't so good either. Maybe it has to do with versions too...

nutxlago
I have really not done any test with sample csv categories. But my categories files can be very well opened in Calc. On the other hand LibreOffice is based on Openoffice. . Please mark this thread as solved so that other can guess they can find a solution for the same problem here.
