Lpeek
Hey all,Every time I type in updates and click 'update translations' button, I am taken to my front page of my shop... I have no idea why and it's very confusing. But as the back office translations arent working, is there another way I can change translations? straight into the mysql database or something? I cant seem to find the correct table for translations? Thanks!
tomerg3
For products categories and similar information that is store in the database, check out tables that end in _lang.for front end translations, there are files in /themes/prestashop/langand for modules, the files are in each module directory. However, if you have changed the englsih text, it can be a pain in the a55 to make language files. You should figure out why you have problems with the translations, there were a could of threads in the translation part of the forum about similar problems. Lpeek
Hey tomerg3, thanks for that! I'll check all the files/database,you say for front end translations there are files... does that mean all the _lang tables in the databse only relate to back office translations? Thanks again
tomerg3
No, the database has all the information the "Site Owner" enters, like product names, categories, discounts, attributes, features etc....
