406 Not Acceptable Error when updating translations

Hi Guys,

I've seen a few posts on this from a while back, but no specific answer.

I have a customer site (presta 1.5) running on their Godaddy hosting plan only I cannot update the translations, as soon as I click update, it thinks about it and then throws the 406 error.

 

Any ideas as it's driving me completely insane here, was on the phone to support for hours and still no luck. I have the same engine running on a different Godaddy account and it works fine, I guess they have changed a setting on their newer Cpanel hosting accounts, but even they don't know what to do.

 

Not Acceptable

An appropriate representation of the requested resource /shop/adminRENAMEDFOLDER/index.php could not be found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

from your hosting control panel-->logs-->error_log

 

check to see if you are getting an error from Mod Security.  This is the most likely cause.

 

PrestaShop allows you to turn off mod security from back office but not all hosts honor the .htaccess directives to do this.
