Formulario Registro, elimino campo newsletter y no me deja registrarme

Hola,

Cuando edito el archivo authetication.tpl de mi template, pues si puedo eliminar el campo newsletter, pero el problema es que cuando estoy creando una nueva cuenta de registro pues al validarla me dice que el campo newsletter es obligatorio!!. Entonces no se que tocar más, ya que si puedo quitar el campo pero cuando me registro salta esa validación. Adjunto archivo authentication.tpl con linea comentada donde empieza el campo newsletter. A ver si alguien me lo puede solucionar. Gracias

En la pestaña Clientes -> Clientes, tienes un botón llamado:

 Establezca los campos obligatorios para esta sección

Revisa que no tengas seleccionado el campo newsletter con el checkbock
