HI

yep blank page with you home page (all empty)

if i go in one category http://swesign.se/sv/23-maskiner that work

its strange

in SEO&URL the page index is declared ?

can you in BO=>advanced parameters=>performance in   CCC (COMBINE, COMPRESS AND CACHE) section

choice Yes for Move the JavaScript code at the end

if that not work you can re-install but well below the following details

1°) make backup of you database

2°) backup folder img of you PS

3°) backup file config/setting.inc.php (that created with the new install)

4°) truncate (empty) your dabase

5°) delete ps in you FTP

6°) truncate your dabase for new install blank

7°) copy new PS in you ftp

8°) install new ps with you broswer

9°) trucate again your dabase for import the backup

10°) import backup of database

11°) copy buckup fodler img in the new PS

12°) replace config/setting.inc.php for connection with database [same 3°)]

13°) connect to admin panel and go in SEO&URL to generate .htacces and configure path

or if your webhoster had bauckup before your problem restore the backup with your webhoster panel

It really sounds like to me that its the (SMARTY) cache that is the problem here. Could you try the following:

In the BackOffice:

1) Advanced Parameters->Performance

2) In the SMARTY-section (on top), select "Recompile templates if the files have been updated", Cache=No. Click on the Save button

3) Reload the front-page and see if its still "blank" or not.

NOTE: One should in general not disable SMARTY cache, but in my experience with it i have seen that it does some strange things. So for this test it should be pretty safe for you to just disable it as described above and save it.

If you have FTP program you can also navigate to the following paths and delete the content there:

/tools/smarty_v2/cache

/tools/smarty_v2/compile

 /tools/smarty/cache

/tools/smarty/compile

See if this helps.
