Aloud
Hi, I have taken over a client website that is P1.5, there are over 100 products with multiple combinations with price+/- and the store is a Multistore in different languages. I have been working on a new design in P1.6 and ready to launch. I will need to upgrade the current site to 1.6 before i can install the new theme but I have the fear that all the combinations and settings will disappear if I do so. I am willing to chance it but if i get into trouble can I "go back" or restore the previous version of presta? Any advice would be great

dioniz
I would suggest you to make a full backup, just in case anything goes wrong and try to upgrade on local server first
Guest
Yes, I used one click update. AND YES: I HAVE MADE A FULL MANUEL BACKUP AF DATA AND FILES BEFORE. EXCUCE ME: But before you use one click update, you are recomeneded to this. READ THE RECOMANDATIONS!!!!!!! If you do not do this, you make troubles for your selfe if the upgrade failes. Manuel backup is a MUST!!!!!!!!
