PizzaPie
Hi to everyone, I'm gettin a blank page when I try to generate delivery slip. Just to be clear, a blank page without any error reporting. I've upgraded to prestashop 1.6.0.9 two days ago, and it seems that I can't generate pdf only for orders I get AFTER upgrading. The other orders (before upgrading) generates PDF correctly. Any advice? Edited September 10, 2014 by PizzaPie (see edit history)

tuk66
How exactly did you upgrade? The page is blank even with development mode enabled?
AlbertoV
I have the same problem. I'm able to generate the pdf on older orders but with the new, I'm getting the blank page. I've set dev mode to true, but I still have the blank page (no errors printed)
tuk66
Guys, how did you upgrade? Through installation of the new version or 1-Click upgrade module? From which version?

tuk66
Is it possible to do the upgrade once more using the latest version of this module (1.4.3)? https://github.com/PrestaShop/autoupgrade
AlbertoV
I've also upgraded with 1-click upgrade. I now have that version of the module but I think I can't do another upgrade. I've tried a rollback of the previous version on a test server, but it ended with an error and the site crashed. I don't understand why I see a black page instead of an error... I've enabled the error reporting!
decorocco
Hi PizzaPie, with my new PS 1.6.0.9 install I have really almost broken my head on this one (nothing seemed to help), until I noticed the .htacces file in the PDF folder had the wron permissions set. Perhaps it is a permissions thing?
AlbertoV
Hi, I've concluded that delivery slips can be generated only if invoice are enabled, since them are generated with data from the invoice db table. I think that prestashop team is working to allow to print them without invoices in a future release.

I enabled the invoices, but what about the time they were disabled. There needs to e a trigger to copy the information.
AlbertoV
Good question... I think that there are no possibilities to do it. You have to manually create them in the db table.

There needs to e a trigger to copy the information. I would have an idea. Normally, in PrestaShop 1.5 and later, all invoices are stored in separate tables. It is not so easy to add missing records because more tables are affected. On the other side, the M4 PDF Extensions module creates invoices from orders, on-the-fly, like in the pre-1.5 versions. So only orders are needed to have all invoices. There is a bonus - amounts and taxes are more accurate, especially when you are using vouchers and other discounts. iljabos
My problem was the cache of webbrowser Chrome!
mjprestshop
In my case I incidentely deleted the folder "pdf" in the root dircetory (not the theme folder). After restoring that folder everything was working fine again (=> no blank page anymore, emails incl. pdf invoice to customers). PS 1.6.09 and EU-legal
